  Main Line Animal Rescue
Main Line Animal Rescue specializes in the rescue and placement of abused, unwanted and abandoned companion animals. We never discriminate on the basis of health, age or breed. By involving and educating the community, Main Line Animal Rescue works to raise the public's awareness of the plight of homeless animals as well as realizing the benefits of adopting an animal in need. Our animals are examined, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and receive any and all medical treatment before they are placed in carefully screened homes.

  The SPCA of Westchester
The SPCA of Westchester was founded in 1883 by Ossining resident Mary Dusenberry after she observed horses being mercilessly whipped and beaten as they trudged up nearby hills to deliver heavy loads of coal. Together with caring friends, she obtained land on which to build the Society's first home and established a fund to be used to prevent cruelty to animals. The SPCA is still located on the same spot, making it one of the oldest landholders in Briarcliff Manor. Originally, the SPCA of Westchester was affiliated with the ASPCA of New York City, but became an independent organization in the 1920s. Today, it is the only humane society in Westchester County empowered to enforce laws relating to animal cruelty. Despite this, the SPCA gets no federal, state, or county funds. So we rely solely on the financial support of people who care about the welfare of animals. If you care about animals, we need your help and welcome donations!
  Angel's Gate
Angel's Gate is a residential, non-profit, 501 (C) 3 home, our home, for special needs animals. Here, animals many of whom are terminally and/or critically ill or physically challenged, come to live out their days in peace, dignity and love. Our focus is on wellness and quality of life. We provide for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of each animal. We take a holistic approach in animal care, giving all needed supportive services including hospice care
  Pet Rescue
Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization founded in 1982 by volunteer workers who met at a "no-kill" animal shelter. Dismayed at the terrible living conditions of the animals there, they left to establish a rescue group to properly care for cats and dogs in need, and find them safe and loving homes.

Pet Rescue is not a formal shelter. It is a small group of volunteers that fosters dogs and cats until they are adopted. Some animals are fostered by group members and outside volunteers, while other animals are housed at local boarding facilities. The animals come from various places. Some come from owners who are no longer able to care for them. Others are taken from local shelters, yet still others (many others) come from the streets. Those rescued from the streets often arrive sick or injured, and are subsequently treated by veterinarians. We have great success finding homes for puppies and kittens as well as older animals and those with special needs (such as blind and handicapped cats and dogs).

We do not euthanize healthy or older animals. We will only give up on the life of an animal when it is terminally ill and in distress.

  The Lange Foundation
The Lange Foundation was founded in 1993 by Gillian Lange, recipient of the 1980 City of Los Angeles St. Francis of Assisi Award for her rescue work with impounded pets since 1974. She founded Amanda Foundation in 1975, and to date the two Foundations have rescued and placed over 20,000 cats and dogs who would otherwise have been destroyed at shelters.

Lange Foundation is dedicated to saving impounded companion animals, and preparing them for a journey to a new, safe, loving world.

Owners who take their pets to the Shelter mistakenly believe good homes will be found for them, but , because of lack of space, most are kept for only five days. The pets we are able to rescue are cared for at our "Half Way Home Haven" in West Los Angeles, where their personality is evaluated and they are given T.L.C. by our staff and volunteers. Once adopted, we assist with training in their new homes if they have problems not easily solved by their new owners. We stand behind those we place.

Your tax deductible donations are desperately needed to help us save as many pets as possible. If you are interested in donating to the Foundation please contact us.

Dogs In Danger is an award winning web site owned and operated by The Buddy Fund Inc. and was founded by two dog lovers, Alex Aliksanyan & Brenda Bush, both directors of The Buddy Fund. The website was launched in October 2007 with the goal of:

1. Getting as many of these dogs adopted into loving homes as possible, before their time runs out; and
2. Raising awareness of the number of dogs being killed in shelters.

The co-founders dedicated their respective skills, The Buddy Fund provided the funding, and the shelters listed the dogs.

The founders have many more ideas to implement, all aimed at eradicating the needless killing of those we call our best friends.

  Scoops Pick Up
Scoops Pick Up, Inc.™ is a full service pet waste removal company that will pick up what your pet leaves behind! We have flexible scheduling available, and will work to accommodate your needs.
Our place is ideal for your well-behaved canine family member who wouldn't be happy in a run or cage. Here, your dogs become our dogs. They play together in one of our three big, fenced-in yards, come in and out of our house, go for runs in our fenced 4-acre field, and sleep in our bedroom at night. We give our boarders 24-hour, hands-on love and attention!

In addition to boarding, we teach obedience through consistency, praise and proper communication between you and your best friend, which are the keys to you both understanding eachother's language. We believe that with owner education, we can help you change a problem dog into an enjoyable family member. For those dogs with longer-term, ingrained problem behaviors, we also offer "doggie finishing school", during which we'll take your dog and work with him at our home, finishing with lessons for you when he comes home. We primarily teach dogs to "chill out" and learn proper in-home behavior, and we provide house-call obedience and behavior lessons in the Telluride area.

  Bracco Italiano Club of America
BICA was founded by a small group of enthusiasts in the summer of 2007. Within a few short months the Club had gone from having less than ten members, to over forty. The Club's main objectives are to promote only the highest standards in breeding, owning, and training; to keep the breed true to its heritage as a gundog; and to maintain the breed's good health and conformation. BICA seeks AKC recognition for the Bracco and also to host specialty shows, field trials, and other events. We hope to see the breed remain as it is -- healthy, amiable, and inherently skilled in the field.
